Vanworld International Investment Canada is recalling Vanworld brand Glutinous Rice Balls for undeclared peanut, one of the major food allergens. Anyone who is allergic to peanuts could have a serious reaction if they consume this product. One reaction has been reported.
The recalled product is Vanworld Glutinous Rice Balls with Black Sesame Filling in 400 gram packages. The UPC number is 6 66872 76009 3 and the code on the product is 01 06 2018. The product was sold in British Columbia, Ontario, and possibly sold nationally at the retail level.
If you bought this product and are allergic to peanuts, do not eat it. Throw it away or take it back to the place of purchase for a refund.
