Eden Brothers broccoli seeds are being recalled for a possible Salmonella risk. The company’s supplier notified them that the seeds may be contaminated. No illnesses have been reported to the company to date in connection with this issue. The recalling firm is Eden Brothers of Arden, North Carolina.

These seeds were sold through online sales at the company’s website and through Amazon from July 8, 2026 through September 28, 2026. The seeds were shipped to consumers nationwide. You can see more pictures of the product at the FDA web site.
The recalled product is Eden Brothers broccoli seeds – Calabrese. The seeds were sold in packet size, with item code SVBRO111-qb1, lot numbers 1022067 and 1022068, and use by date 2026. The one ounce size has the item code SVBRO111-qb2, lot numbers 1022067 and 1022068, and use by date 2026. Finally, 1 pound packages of the seeds are included in this recall. The item code is SVBRO111-qb4, lot numbers 1022067 and 1022068, and use by date 2026. The lot nubmer is printed on the seed packet or bag.
If you bought these seeds, stop using them. Do not plant, sprout, or eat them, and do not use them to grow microgreens or broccoli sprouts. Seal the seeds in a bag and throw in the household trash rather than compost, then wash your hands throughly with soap and water. You can complete the recall reply form for a refund.
