The UPC number that is stamped on the product label is 085315054108. The item number is 05410, and the lot code is 1226183. There are 134 packages of this product included in this recall. No expiration date was mentioned.
The recall was triggered when the company received a consumer inquiry noting that the soup base in the kit did not match Sura Tanmen kits. A soba sauce, which contains fish, was mistakenly packaged into Sura Tanmen kits. The issue was traced to a single production run and has been corrected.
