The recalled products include WinCo Foods Salsa Bean Dip Tray Express with a net weight of 54 ounces. The UPC number is 2-67173-#####. Also recalled is the same product that is a 16 inch catering tray, available by special order only, with a net weight of 104 ounces. The UPC number for that product is 2-67240-#####. They were sold in WinCo retail stores in the states of Arizona, California, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, and Washington.

The peperoncini may have been used as an ingredient in the trays with best if used by dates of August 14, 2026 through September 25, 2026. You can see more pictures of product labels at the FDA web site.

WinCo Foods did not have or use any product with evidence of pests in the jar. The items are ready made deli-type products with a short shelf life, so these items are most likely no longer in consumers’ homes. All product that may have been made using peperoncini was removed from retail stores. The recall was issued out of transparency for the company’s customers.

If you purchased these trays, do not eat them or serve them to others. You can throw them away in a secure garbage can with a tight lid after double bagging them so others can’t see them, or you can take them back to the store where you bought them for a full refund.
