Chicken Frankfurters Recalled in Canada for Bone Fragments

Maple Lodge Farms is recalling some of their chicken frankfurters from the marketplace in Canada because they may contain foreign material in the form of bone fragments. One injury has been associated with the consumption of these products.

The recalled products are Maple Lodge Farms Big Original Chicken Frankfurters in 450 gram packages. The code is 2017.AU.27 and the UPC number is 067714004205. Also recalled is Zabiha Halal Big Original Chicken Frankfurters, also in 450 gram packages. The code is 2017.AU.27, and the UPC number is 067714004236. They were sold nationally at the retail level.

If you purchased these products, do not eat them. Throw them away in a sealed container, or take them back to the place of purchase for a full refund.
