Marketside Creamy Cauliflower Parmesan Soup Recalled

Kettle Cuisine of Lynn, Massachusetts is voluntarily recalling Marketside Creamy Cauliflower Parmesan Soup sold in 16 ounce containers because some of them may contain fish and wheat allergens that are not declared on the label.

Fish and wheat are two of the major food allergens. Anyone who is allergic to or sensitive to those ingredients, or who has celiac disease, could have a serious reaction if they eat this product. No illnesses or adverse reactions have been reported to date in connection with this recall.

This product was distributed to Walmart stores in all 50 states for purchase, either in store or online. The recalled product is packaged into 16 ounce plastic retail lidded cups, labeled “Marketside Brand Creamy Cauliflower Soup.” The UPC number on the product is 8113130636. Use by dates stamped on the container range from 11/23/19 to 01/01/20 inclusive.

The problem was discovered when some 16 ounce retail cups that were labeled as Marketside Creamy Cauliflower Parmesan Soup were actually found to contain Clam Chowder.

If you purchased this product and are allergic to fish and/or wheat, do not eat it. Throw it away or take it back to the store where you bought it for a full refund.

Symptoms of allergic reactions can vary from mild to severe. Mild symptoms include tingling of the mouth, lips, and tongue and itching. More severe reactions can include hives, swelling of the mouth or throat, or breathing difficulties. If you are experiencing these reactions, see your doctor.
