Wafers Recalled in Canada for Undeclared Milk

S & F Food Importers and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency are recalling Salzburg Schokolade Wafers for undeclared milk, one of the major food allergens. Anyone with an allergy to milk could have a serious or life-threatening reaction if they consume these products.There is no word on whether or not any reactions have been reported to date.

RecallThe recalled products are Salzburg Schokolade brand. All codes where milk is not declared on the label are recalled. The first is Gefüllte Waffeln – Salzburg Wafers with Hazelnut Cream Filling in 150 gram packages. The UPC number is 9 025900 100354. The second is Neapolitaner – Crispy Wafers Filled with Hazelnut Cream in 320 gram packages. The UPC number is 0 69694 01268 3. They were sold nationally at the retail level.

If you purchased these products and are allergic to milk, do not eat them. Discard or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
