Allergy Alert for Popcorn Palace 1-Gallon Bags

Popcorn Palace, in Schiller Park, Illinois, is issuing an alert about undeclared allergens in some of their 1-Gallon Value Bags of flavored popcorn. The bags were sold through fundraising programs. There may be milk, soy, peanuts, or tree nuts in these products. These ingredients can cause serious or life-threatening reactions in people allergic to these foods.

  • Caramel Nut, 1-Gallon Value Bag (contains milk, soy, peanuts, tree nuts [almonds, cashews])
  • Cheddar Cheese, 1-Gallon Value Bag (contains milk, soy)
  • Chicago Style, 1-Gallon Value Bag (contains milk, soy)
  • Chocolate Drizzle Caramel, 1-Gallon Value Bag (contains milk, soy)
  • Cookies & Cream, 1-Gallon Value Bag (contains milk, soy, wheat)
  • Gourmet Caramel, 1-Gallon Value Bag (contains milk, soy)
  • Macadamia Butter Crunch, 1-Gallon Value Bag (contains milk, soy, macadamia nuts)
  • Rainbow, 1-Gallon Value Bag (contains soy)
  • Spicy Cheese, 1-Gallon Value Bag (contains milk, soy, wheat)
  • White Cheddar, 1-Gallon Value Bag (contains milk, soy)

There have not been any reported illnesses connected with these products. The popcorn is completely safe for people without these allergies. The products were sold after October 1, 2011.
