7th Heaven Recalls Oatmeal Raisin Cookies for Undeclared Allergens

7th Heaven Bakeries of Oklahoma is recalling Oatmeal Raisin Cookies because they may contain undeclared dry eggs, soy lecithin, and whey solids. Those with an allergy or severe sensitivity to eggs, soy, and milk could have a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume the cookies. No reports of illness have been received to date.

The Oatmeal Raisin Cookies for distributed for sale to 7-Eleven stores in the Okalahoma City area, which includes Oklahoma City, Moore, Norman, Noble, Midwest City, Del City, Edmond, Bethany, Nichols Hills, The Village, Yukon, Warr Acres, and Mustang, Oklahoma. The cookies are wrapped individually and are labeled with a round, 7th Heaven Bakeries label that is orange and yellow. The cookies have a “best by date” of 5/7/2013.

An FDA inspection revealed that the label was incorrect. The company corrected the label on April 23, 2013 and removed mislabeled cookies from stores. If you purchased this product and are allergic to eggs, soy, or milk, return it for replacement.
