Bar-B-Q Bread Recalled for Undeclared Milk

Flowers Foods is voluntary recalling some types of Bar-B-Q bread because they contain undeclared milk, one of the major food allergens. Anyone with a severe sensitivity or allergy to milk could have a serious reaction if they consume one of these products. Fewer than 3,000 loaves are included in this recall.

Recall SignageThe recalled products include Sunbeam Bar-B-Q Bread with UPC number 0 77633 05303 1 and code date JUL 3 180 172; Bunny Bar-B-Q Bread with UPC number 0 71025 01500 3, and code date JUL 3 180 172; Flowers Deli Bar-B-Q Bread with UPC number 0 72250 01866 1 and code date of JUL 3 180 172; and Ingles Pull-Apart Bar-B-Q Bread with UPC number 86854 01543 8 and code date of JUL 3 180 172. The products were sold in retail stores in Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, and Tennessee.

Flowers discovered that product containing milk was distributed in packaging that did not reveal the presence of milk. If you purchased any of these products and are allergic to milk, do not eat them. Return to the place of purchase or discard.
