Bear Creek Smokehouse Recalls Beef for Undeclared Soy

Bear Creek Smokehouse is recalling 3,700 pounds of beef products because they may be contaminated with soy, one of the major food allergens, that is not declared on the label. Anyone with an allergy to soy could have a life-threatening allergic reaction if they eat this product.

The recalled product is 1 pound plastic containers of “Beasley’s Smokehouse Chopped Barbecue Beef with Sauce.” It has the establishment number “EST. 7226” inside the USDA mark of inspection. The beef was shipped to retail locations in Texas.

No reports of adverse reactions have been received to date. If you purchased this product and are allergic to soy, do not eat it. Discard or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
