CS Fishery Recalls Canned Tuna for Possible Botulism

CSFPDX LLC of Oregon is voluntarily recalling all CS Fishery Wild Albacore Tuna with any codes starting with “OC” because they may be contaminated with botulism toxin. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with the consumption of these products.

CS Fishery Tuna Botulism RecallThe recall only affects the CS Fishery Wild Albacore Tuna in cans, net weight 64 ounces (4 pounds). The code is OCK 16APR2017 on the bottom or the top of the can. Skipanon Brand Seafoods packed this product, so this is a secondary recall. Other canned seafood products with this brand name, including 7.5 ounce cans of Wild Line Caught Albacore Tuna are not affected by this recall.

The recalled item was sold to consumers at the company’s retail location or distributed to retail stores and wholesalers in Oregon. The last date of distribution was September 2015.

If you purchased this product, do not eat it. Discard in a sealed container or take it back to the place of purchase for a full refund.
