Ezaki Glico Pretz Recalled for Undeclared Milk

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Henry Trading Co., Top Choice Import and Services are recalling Ezaki Glico brand Pretz from the marketplace for undeclared milk, one of the major food allergens. Anyone who is allergic to milk could have a serious reaction if they eat this product. The product is stick pretzels.

Ekazki Glico Pretz RecallThe recalled item is Pretz “Ramen Flavor” in Japanese characters only in 55 gram packages and UPC number 4 901005 102583. Also recalled is Pretz “Scallop flavor”, Japanese characters only in 55 gram packages with UPC number 4 901005 102620. Finally, Pretz in “Mild Salad flavor” in Japanese characters only in 25 gram packages with UPC number 4 901005 100824 are recalled. They were sold in Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, and possibly nationally.

If you purchased these products and are allergic to milk, do not eat them. Throw them away or return to the place of purchase for a refund. You can see pictures of product packages at the CFIA web site.
