Ossie’s Fish Recalled for Undeclared Allergens

SM Fish Corp of New York is recalling Ossie’s fish products because they contain undeclared milk and eggs, which are two of the major food allergens. No illnesses or allergic reactions have been reported to date.

The first recall is for Ossie’s Pickled Lox & Cream for undeclared eggs. The product was distributed to retail stores in New York and New Jersey. The product is packaged in 8 ounce clear plastic containers with UPC number 739885104113 and date code “06/04/15” on the bottom of the tub.

The second recall is for Ossie’s Herring in Sourcream and Ossie’s Pickled Lox Dairy Products for undeclared milk. The Herring in Sourcream is sold in 8 ounce clear plastic containers with UPC number 739885114174 and date code “06/08/15”. Ossie’s Pickled Lox Dairy is sold in 8 ounce clear plastic containers is also recalled for undeclared milk. It has UPC number 739885114136 and date code “06/08/15”. These products were also distributed to retail stores in New York and New Jersey.

If you purchased these products and you are allergic to milk and/or eggs, do not eat them. Throw them away or return to the store where you bought them for a full refund.
