Trader Joe’s A Dozen Sweet Bites Recalled for Coconut

Prolainat is voluntarily recalling all lots of Trader Joe’s A Dozen Sweet Bites because they contain undeclared coconut. Anyone who is allergic to coconut could have a serious allergic reaction if they eat this product. No allergic reactions or illnesses have been reported.

The recalled products are 9.16 ounce packages of Trader Joe’s A Dozen Sweet Bites in Chocolate & Coffee “Opera” Cake, Raspberry “Macaron Aux Framboises” Cake, and Caramel & Chocolate Cake flavors. They are all packaged in one box. They are safe to eat for those who are not allergic to coconut.

The recalled products were produced from January 1, 2011 to February 5, 2015 and sold in Trader Joe’s stores nationwide. They are sold in the frozen food aisle. A photograph of the product is printed on the front of the box and the UPC number of 00967679 on the back.

If you purchased this product and are allergic to coconut, do not eat it. Discard or return to Trader Joe’s for a refund.
