Heinz Strained Prunes Recalled in Canada for Foreign Material

Kraft Heinz Canada is recalling Heinz strained prunes because they may contain pieces of rubber, which present a choking hazard. There has been one reported incident associated with the consumption of this product.

The recalled product is Heinz brand strained prunes in 128 ml sizes. The best before date is 2017 JN 10 and the UPC number on the product isĀ 0 575330 7. The prunes were sold nationally at the retail level. The recall was triggered by a consumer complaint. Government officials are conducting a food safety investigation.

If you purchased this product, do not eat it. Throw it away or return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
