Publix Recalls Apple Coffee Cakes for Foreign Material

Publix is recalling Apple Coffee Cakes because they may contain foreign material. Small metal shavings may be present in the product. The Apple coffee Cakes were sold at Publix bakery departments in Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee, North Carolina and the following counties in Florida: Alachua, Charlotte, Citrus, Collier, DeSoto, Hernando, Highlands, Hillsborough, Lee, Manatee, Marion, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk and Sarasota.

There have been no reports of illness or injury relating to this issue. The Apple Coffee Cakes have a UPC number of 002-19562-00000, and the recall includes all date codes.

If you purchased this product, do not eat it. Throw it away or take it back to the store where you bought it for a full refund.
