Southwest Chicken Salad Recalled for Foreign Material

Winter Gardens Quality Foods of Pennsylvania is recalling about 3,710 pounds of chicken salad that may contain extraneous plastic materials. No confirmed reports of adverse reactions or injuries have been received in connection with the consumption of this product.

Recall SignThe recalled product is 10 pound bulk plastic tubs containing “Southwest Chicken Salad” with use by dates 2/18/16, 2/19/16, 2/23/16, 2/25/16, 2/26/16, and 3/3/16. They were produced on various dates between January 28 and February 11, 2016. The have the establishment number “P-9815” inside the USDA mark of inspection and case code 2444. They were shipped to a distributor in Pennsylvania for further processing and distribution.

If you purchased this product, do not eat it. Throw it away or return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
