7-Eleven Mantecada (Muffin) Recalled for Undeclared Milk

BAK-EZ Bakery of Norcross, Georgia is recalling 7-Eleven Mantecada (Muffin) for undeclared milk, one of the major food allergens. Anyone who is allergic or sensitive to milk, or who is lactose intolerant, could have a serious reaction if they eat this product. No illnesses or reactions have been reported to date.

The recalled product is 7-Select brand Mantecada (Muffin) in 4.0 ounce packages. The UPC number on the product is 05254859241-7. It was sold in 7-Eleven stores only in Southern California (Bakersfield, San Diego, and Los Angeles) from January 23 to March 3, 2017. No other stores are part of this recall.

The company discovered that the product received incorrect packaging that did not have milk on the label. If you purchased this product and cannot eat milk, do not eat it. Throw it away or take it back to the store where you bought it for a full refund.
