A Good Portion Mixed Nuts Recalled for Insects

Naturapack Foods Inc. and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency are recalling A Good Portion brand Raw Mixed Nuts and Dried Fruits for the presence of insects. The product was distributed in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Northwest Territories, Ontario, and Saskatchewan.

The recalled product is A Good Portion Raw Mixed Nuts and Dried Fruits in 454 gram containers. The code on the product is SEP. 18, 2017 16-229-230. The UPC number of the recalled product is 8 92886 00109 3. The recall notice states that the reason for the recall is “Extraneous Material – Non-Harmful – Insect.” There is no word about any illnesses associated with this product.

If you purchased this product, do not eat it. Throw it away or take it back to the store where you bought it for a full refund.
