Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix Recalled for Undeclared Milk

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has announced that Madhava Natural Sweeteners has recalled its “MMM … CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE MIX” because it may contain milk – an allergen not mentioned on the product labeling. Madhava Natural Sweeteners is headquartered in Longmont, Colorado.

The chocolate chip cookie mix, contained within 13.8-ounce packages, was distributed to retailers nationwide. The packages affected by the recall are stamped with the UPC code 0 78314 25105 0.

The undeclared milk was an ingredient in the chocolate chips that were incorporated into the cookie mix. People who are allergic to milk may become ill if they ingest this product. Thus, packages should be thrown away or returned to the store for a full refund.Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix Recall
