Mountain House Breakfast Hash Recalled for Foreign Materials

OFD Foods of Oregon is recalling about 197 pounds of beef product that may be contaminated with foreign material. An employee found pieces of rubber in the product on June 12, 2017. No injuries or adverse reactions have been reported in connection with this issue.

The recalled product is 3.88 ounceĀ pouches of Mountain House Freeze Dried Spicy Southwest Breakfast Hash. The pouch code isĀ 3253174 and the best by date is Dec. 2046. The product has the establishment number “EST. 1394” inside the USDA mark of inspection. It was shipped to retail locations nationwide and was also sold directly to consumers over the internet.

If you purchased this product do not eat it. Throw it away or return it to the place of purchase for a refund.
