“Silver Star Chipotle Dip” Recalled for Multiple Allergens

The U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) has announced that Texas Legend Foods has recalled its “SILVER STAR CHIPOTLE QUESO DIP” product. Due to a breakdown in the manufacturer’s production and packaging processes, the labeling on the queso dip products did not reveal the presence of milk, cheese, and eggs in the dip. Texas Legend Foods operates out of Austin, Texas.

The recalled chipotle queso dip, packaged in 16-ounce clear glass jars, was distributed nationwide to retail grocery stores. These jars were marked with the UPC code #819993005394 and one of the following lot numbers: 060AFV7A, 072AFV7A, 072AFV7B, 090AFV7A, 111AFV7A.

Individuals who are allergic to milk, cheese, or eggs should not consume this chipotle queso dip. They are advised to either throw the packages away or return them to their place of purchase for a refund.Warning Recall Sign
