WFSP Foods Recalls Ready to Eat Chicken That May be Undercooked

WFSP Foods Inc of Alabama is recalling about 42,147 pounds of ready to eat chicken breast products that may be undercooked, which means bacteria could survive in the food. The firm received multiple consumer complaints that the product was undercooked, but there have been no confirmed reports of illness due to the consumption of this food.

The recalled products are 9 pound foodservice cases containing 8 poly film packages of “CHEF’S LINE ALL NATURAL FIRE GRILLED CHICKEN BREAST” with product code 22586, produced on 04/07/17, and Best by date 06/14/17. Also recalled is 9 pound foodservice cases containing 8 poly film packages of “saladworks FULLY COOKED FLAME GRILLED CHICKEN BREAST FILLETS” with product code 22500, produced on 03/29/17 and Use by date 06/05/17. The products have the establishment number “P-45411” inside the USDA mark of inspection. They were distributed to hotel, restaurant, and institution locations nationwide.

Do not consume these products if you bought them. Throw them away or take them back to the place of purchase.
