Atkins Nutritionals Recalls Candies for Peanuts

Atkins Nutritionals is recalling a limited quantity of Atkins Chocolate Candies because they may contain sachets of Atkins Chocolate Peanut Candies. Although the inner sachets are properly marked as Chocolate Peanut Candies, someone who is allergic to peanuts could mistakenly eat them. Anyone who is allergic to peanuts could have a serious allergic reaction if they eat this product. No illnesses have been reported to date. Three consumers who bought the mislabeled product told Atkins about the problem. The recalled product is Atkins Chocolate Candies 5 ct. sachets. The UPC number is 637480075558. Pinnacle Foods Group is voluntarily recalling a limited quantity of Wish Bone Ranch Salad Dressing because the bottles contain blue cheese dressing. The blue cheese dressing contains eggs which is not noted on the Ranch dressing bottle. No illnesses or allergic reactions have been reported to date. If you are not allergic to eggs, the product is safe to eat. The recalled product is 8,678 cases of Wish-Bone Ranch Salad Dressing in 24 ounce bottles, distributed nationwide. Euro Import Distributions of New York is recalling dried apricots because they contain undeclared sulfites. Anyone who has a sensitivity to sulfites and some asthmatics could suffer anaphylactic shock if they eat foods with more than 10 milligrams of sulfites per serving. These dried apricots had 23.26 milligrams of sulfites per serving. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with the consumption of this product.
