Cold Smoked Salmon Recalled for Listeria

Salmolux of Washington is recalling its cold smoked salmon products because they may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. No illnesses have been reported to date.

Recall SignageYou can see the long list of recalled products, along with the lot numbers, brands, UPC numbers, and form on the FDA web site. The products include Nova Lox, Atlantic Lox, Keta Lox, Sockeye Lox, and several types of trays. More than 4,900 pounds of the recalled fish products were sold in Arkansas, Arizona, California, Idaho, Michigan, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Oregon, and Washington state through retail stores.

Routine sampling by the FDA discovered the problem. If you purchased any of these products, return them to the place of purchase for a refund. For questions and more information, call the company at 253-874-2026 Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm PT.
