Pride Foods Recalls Beef Patties and Chubs for Undeclared Soy

Pride Foods of Florida is recalling 116,404 pounds of beef pattie and chub products because they contain soy, one of the major food allergens, that is not declared on the label. There have been no reports of adverse reactions associated with the consumption of these products.

Raw Ground Beef PattiesThe products include 10 pound cases of 3, 4, and 6 ounce “Savory Beef Patties” that were exported to the Bahamas and distributed in the Caribbean. Also recalled are 10-pound cases of 4 ounce “Beef Patties”, also exported to the Bahamas and distributed thorughout the Caribbean. Finally, 24-pound cases of 1 pound “Beef Pattie Mix” chubs that were distributed to a food bank in Pennsylvania are recalled. All of the products have establishment number “EST. 18506” inside the USDA mark of inspection. They were made between December 1, 2012 and August 27, 2013.
