In Canada, Sesame Cookies Recalled for Undeclared Milk

The CFIA and New Century Food, Inc. are recalling sesame cookies because they contain milk, one of the major food allergens, that is not declared on the label. Anyone with a severe sensitivity or allergy to milk could have a serious or life-threatening reaction if they consume this product. There is no information about whether any illnesses or adverse reactions have been reported.

Recall SignageThe recalled product is Sesame Cookies, in 350 gram packages. The UPC number is 0 776553 6 and the code on the product is BEST BEFORE FE 17 2014 to AL 11 2014. The cookies were sold in Ontario at the retail level.

If you purchased this product and are allergic to milk, do not eat it. Return it to the place of purchase for a refund.
