New Update for Stores Selling Recalled Rancho Feeding Beef

A new update for stores that may have sold Rancho Feeding Corporation beef products because they were made from diseased and unsound animals has been issued by the USDA. A complete list of the recalled items can be found at the USDA site. While the recall is considered nationwide, the states on the list include Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Guam, Hawaii, Iowa, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Washington state, and Wyoming.

Beef CarcassThe stores that have nationwide, state wide, or area wide distribution now stands at 23. The stores added to the list include Circle K stores in California, Pavilions in California, Safeway in Arizona, California, and Nevada, Vons in California and Nevada, and Winco in California, Idaho, and Washington state. The number of stores that may have carried the products has grown to include more than 2,100 stores. More than 1,200 of those facilities are in California.

Please look carefully at the retail distribution list and the list of products that have been recalled. If you purchased any of these products at those locations, or at other locations, do not eat them. Discard them or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
