Our Staff

Linda Larsen is the editor of Food Poisoning Bulletin. Linda is a journalist and author. She has written 28 books, including Medical Ethics for Dummies, Eating Clean for Dummies, Knack Low Salt Cookbook, and the Everything Food Allergy Cookbook. She worked for the Pillsbury company for many years, in their test kitchens and for the Pillsbury Bake-Off. Linda has been the About.com Guide to Busy Cooks for eleven years. She holds a degree in Biology from St. Olaf College and a degree with High Distinction in Food Science from the University of Minnesota.

Carla Solberg Gillespie is a writer for Food Poisoning Bulletin. Her work as a reporter, columnist, research director and contributing writer has appeared in a variety of business publications. Her skills as an  investigative reporter have uncovered breaking news of food poisoning outbreaks and food recalls. She has also provided the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) with information of which the agency was unaware. She graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication.

Kathy Will is a writer for Food Poisoning Bulletin. She is a licensed attorney who has been writing about food safety issues for over six years. She also had a weekly food column for a local newspaper where she regaled readers about her successes and failures in the kitchen. Kathy is the mother of three children.
