Focus Products Group is recalling Cocoa Latte™ Hot Drink Maker because a small bushing inside the container may leach lead. To date, there have been no consumer complaints. The company’s testing revealed the potential problem.
The machines sold are: West Bend model number 65032, and Back to Basics model numbers CM300BK, CM300BKL, CM300BLSS, CM300BR, CM300BRBRL CM300BRL, and CM300W. The products were shipped nationwide starting in 2004 through October 12, 2012. They were sold through retailers such as Bed Bath & Beyond, Amazon.com, and Focus Products’ online store.
The company’s other models, including the Cocoa Grande™ Hot Drink Maker, is not recalled. If you have purchased one of these products, call the Focus Products’ Call Center at 1-888-943-5202.
