Jimmy Dean Recalls Sandwiches for Undeclared Egg and Soy

Jimmy Dean® is recalling a partial production run of the brand’s butcher wrapped Food service product Jimmy Dean® French Toast & Sausage Sandwich because it may contain undeclared allergens egg and soy. The recall is due to a labelling error, in which the wrong ingredient statement was applied to some of the sandwiches.

The sandwiches have code “12292P1” on the back label under the product’s ingredient statement. The recall affects 1,110 pounds of the sandwiches. The sandwiches have UPC number 5450051434. The product was shipped to these states: Iowa, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.

No other Jimmy Dean® branded products, including Jimmy Dean Delights French Toast Griddlers sold at grocery stores, are affected by this recall. There have been no reports of illness associated with the consumption of this product. Return the product to the place of purchase for a refund.
