More El Ranchero Del Sur Cheese Recalled

El Ranchero Del Sur, LLC of South River, New Jersey is recalling more types of cheeses due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. Some of the cheeses were recalled March 15, 2012.

Los Corrales Queso Fresco en Hoja De Platano (Fresh Cheese in Banana Leaf)

  • 14 ounce plastic clamshell
  • UPC number 880522300037

El Ranchero Queso Oxaca (String Cheese)

  • 14 ounce shrink wrap with UPC number 880522300068
  • 10 pound plastic loose wrap with UPC number 88522300051

The products were distributed from 2/23/12 through 3/14/12 through direct delivery to retail stores, supermarkets, and restaurants in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The company has ceased the production and distribution of these products.
