Pacific Coast Fruit Company Recalls Salads for Possible Listeria

Pacific Coast Fruit Company recalls multiple types of bagged processed salads for possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination.  The company used salads recalled by River Ranch in some of their own bagged salads.

Brands include Chef on the Run and  Mio Fratello, and varieties include Garden Salad and Deluxe Salads. To see all the brands, UPC numbers, item numbers, descriptions, date indicators, and date range for recall, please visit the FDA site.

Product details:

  • Distributed to Fred Meyer, Avanti, and Evergreen in Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington.
  • Retail salads are packed in a 9.6-ounce to 10-ounce clamshell style
  • VA food service items are packed in 5 to 20 pound food service salad bags
