Wayne Farms Recalls Chicken Wings for Undeclared Allergen

Wayne Farms is recalling about 2,320 pounds of frozen honey barbecue chicken wings because they contain egg, one of the major food allergens, that is not declared on the label. There have been no reports of illness associated with the consumption of this product.

The product is 4 pound bags of “GFS® Honey BBQ Flavored Chicken Wings” packed in 16 pound cases. The cases have the establishment number “P-33885” inside the USDA mark of inspection and a case code of 572160. The bags have a production date of “11/28/12” above “p#33885” inkjetted on the package. They were shipped to a foodservice distribution center in Kentucky for distribution at the retail level in Indiana, Kentucky, and Tennessee.
