Bubba’s Buffalo Blue Cheese Chicken Dip Recalled for Undeclared Fish

ECRS, LLC of Florida is recalling 12,560 pounds of chicken dip products because of misbranding and an undeclared allergen. The products contain anchovies, one of the major food allergens. No reports of illness have been received to date.

The recalled products are 8-ounce containers of Bubba’s Buffalo Blue Cheese Chicken Dip with the establishment number “P-21299” inside the USDA mark of inspection. The products were produced and packaged on April 10, 2013. Also recalled are 16-ounce containers of the same product with the same establishment number with 8 pieces per case. Expiration dates are from June 25, 2013 through September 24, 2013. The products were produced and packaged from March 21, 2013 through June 21, 2013. The dip was distributed to retail grocery stores and through internet and catalog sales in Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Missouri, and Ohio.
