Del Campo Papa Seca Recalled for Undeclared Sulfites

Megabusiness LLC is recalling Del Campo Papa sec/DRY POTATO because it contains undeclared sulfites. Those with an allergy or severe sensitivity to sulfites could have a serious or life threatening reaction if they consume this product. No illnesses have been reported to date. Also, asthmatics can suffer anaphylactic shock if they consume more than 10 mg of sulfites per serving.

The recalled product is Del Campo Papa Seca/DRY Potato, packed in a 14 ounce plastic bag and sold in a case of 24 bags. The UPC number isĀ 891726000218 and the expiration date is June 2014. The product was distributed in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Illinois and sold at the retail level.

The New York State Department of Agriculture revealed the presence of sulfites in the product. If you purchased this product, do not eat it. Return it to the place of purchase for a refund.
