Dove Chocolate Discoveries is recalling a product that was sold only through home party businesses. Dark Chocolate-Covered Fruit Collection boxes may contain undeclared nuts. Anyone with an allergy or severe sensitivity to nuts could have a serious or life-threatening reaction if they eat these products.
The Dark Chocolate-Covered Fruit Collection boxes are marked item #3265D with lot code #317DAIDS01. Over the past two weeks, the company has tried to contact everyone who has purchased this product, but could not reach some of them. Up to four mislabeled boxes remain outside company control. A sales representative contacted the company indicating that a customer received a package containing Dark Chocolate Cinnamon Dusted Almonds instead of the fruit they ordered.
