Dutch Valley Recalls Honey Roasted Peanuts For Undeclared Allergen

peanut-recallDutch Valley is recalling Honey Roasted Peanuts due to undeclared milk and wheat ingredients. People  with food allergies to milk or wheat should not eat these products as doing so may cause a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction. There have been no illnesses or issues reported regarding consumption of this product to date.

The recalled product is identified with the following information: item # 050143, UPC# 8 77245 00143 3, “Best By” date prior to and including 1/21/14. The Best By date is located next to nutritional panel

The peanuts were sold in clear 11-oz retail packages that were distributed cases containing 12 packs each. The recalled product was sold on the company’s website and distributed to the following states: CT, DE, IL, KY, MD, NJ, NY, OH, PA, TX and WI.

Retailers that have received this product should remove it from store shelves. Consumers with allergies who have purchased this product should not eat it.
