AH!LASKA Chocolate Mix Recalled for Undeclared Milk

KORU Pacific Packaging is recalling AH!LASKA organic cocoa non-dairy chocolate mix because it contains undeclared milk, one of the major food allergens. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with the consumption of this product.

AH!LASKA Cocoa RecallThe recalled product is AH!LASKA Organic Cocoa Non-Dairy Chocolate in 12 ounce containers. The UPC number is 7-60519-10028-7 and the lot number is LOT# 3280 BEST BY APR/2015, marked on the shipping case sticker and on the metal canister bottom. Only this “best by” date is being recalled. The product was distributed to retailers nationwide.

The problem was discovered when testing confirmed the presence of milk allergen in the finished product. The label on the product has the allergen advisory statement, “made in a facility that also processes peanuts, sesame, dairy, eggs, fish, and soy.” If you purchased this product and are allergic to milk do not eat it. Discard it or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
