Carrot Crisps Recalled in Canada for Undeclared Almonds

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Okanagan Rawsome are recalling Carrot Chips because they contain undeclared almonds, one of the major food allergens. People who are allergic to almonds, or tree nuts, could have a serious allergic reaction if they eat this product. There is no word on any reactions reported to date.

RecallThe recalled product is Okanagan Rawsome Afke’s Chia-Hemp Carrot Crisps in 180 gram packages. The code on the product is BEST BEFORE 221114 and the UPC number isĀ 6 27843 06693 4. They were sold in Alberta and British Columbia.

If you purchased this product and are allergic to almonds or tree nuts, do not eat it. Discard or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
