Butter Creek Farms of Kent, WA is recalling a number of Cow Chip brand cookies sold via the Internet. The cookies are being recalled because they contain undeclared allergens. Consumers with allergies to peanuts, wheat, soy or eggs who have purchased they cookies should carefully check the recall information by clicking the link above. People with such food allergies should not eat these cookies as the run the risk of allergic reaction if they do.
Cow chip brand Mock Baby Ruth, Nutty Calf Chip, Nutty Cow Chip, Nutty Bull Chip and White Macadamia Nut cookies have undeclared peanut, egg, wheat, soy, wheat, and milk.
Cow Chip , Calf Chip , Bull Chip, Peanut Butter, M&M cookies, have undeclared nuts, egg, wheat and soy. Double Chocolate Amaretto and Sprinkle cookies have undeclared wheat, soy and egg. Lemon Sugar , Snickerdoodle and Oatmeal Raisin cookies have undeclared wheat and egg. The cookies may have been packaged in gift boxes containing a variety of cookies.
Winn Dixie Chocolate Flavored Drink Mix is being recalled for possible for undeclared milk allergen. The recalled product which was sold in plastic containers with the best by date of JUL1415B.
Whole Foods Market is recalling Tom Yom soup for undeclared milk. The recalled product was sold in MD, NJ, OH, VA, KY, PA, and Washington, D.C. The ready-to-eat soup was sold in cups with a “best by” date of April 8, 2014.
Also included in the enforcement report, was the long list of cheeses recalled by Roos Foods for Listeria. Consumers who have purchased these products should not eat them. Listeria causes serious illness. Those most at risk are, seniors, young children, pregnant women and others with compromised immune systems. Among pregnant women, listeriosis can cause miscarriage and stillbirth.
