Evolution Fresh is recalling 1700 bottles of “Organic Sweet Greens and Ginger” juice because the bottles swell. The company is conducting an investigation to try to discover the problem. There are no customer complaints or reports of illness to date. The recall is voluntary, being conducted out of an abundance of caution.
The recall is for the Organic Sweet Greens and Ginger Juice with a best by date of March 2, 2014. The juices were sold beginning on January 18, 2014 only in California and Nevada at about 120 grocery stores. The product was not sold in Starbucks retail stores. If you purchased this product, do not drink it. Return it to the place of purchase or discard it.
