Pecan Shed recalled several items, for the presence of soy, milk, and pecans, three of the major food allergens, that were not declared on the label. The products have no lot codes or expiration dates. The fudge expires in two weeks unless it’s frozen. If it’s frozen, it expires in 2 years. The recalled items include Chocolate Pecan Fudge, Plain Chocolate Fudge, Butter Pecan Fudge, Pecan Shed Special Turtle Fudge, Maple Nut with Pecans Fudge, Dark Chocolate with Pecans Fudge, Tiger Fudge, Chocolate Mint Fudge, Pumpkin Pie Fudge, Pumpkin Pie with Pecans Fudge, Divinity with Pecans Fudge, Sucrose Free Chocolate Pecan, and Birthday Cake Fudge, and Sucrose Free Chocolate Plain Fudge.
Meijer Distribution is recalling one bakery item because milk is not listed as an allergen on the label. Markers of Meijer Pretzel Hamburger Bun is recalled, all products with a sell date through January 15, 2014.
Elite Spice is recalling seasonings that may be contaminated with Salmonella bacteria. The products include Jalapeño Ground 40 with code JP9520, Jalapeño Nut Seasoning with code 35076A2, Chipotle Nut Seasoning with code 38113A2, Ole Hot Chorizo Seasoning with code 32581A9, Mexican Style Mild Chorizo with code 32582A9, and Jalapeño Burger Seasoning with code 32680B2.
