In Canada, Biscuits Recalled for Undeclared Milk

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Super Asia Foods & Spices are recalling EBM Brands biscuits because they contain milk, one of the major food allergens, that is not listed on the label. Anyone with an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk could have a serious or life-threatening reaction if they consume these products. There is no word on whether or not any reactions have been reported.

Recall SignThe recalled products are EBM Brands. All codes where milk is not declared on the label are recalled. They include Click Cumin Biscuit in 142 gram containers, with UPC number 8 964000 684009; Butter Puff Biscuit in 105 gram containers with UPC number 8 964000 684559; and Party Biscuits with Raisins & Peanuts in 135.8 gram containers with UPC number 8 964000 684238. They were sold in Ontario.

If you purchased these products and are allergic to milk, do not eat them. Discard or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
