In Canada, Bran Dough Recalled for Undeclared Gluten

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency and Sheung Kee Trading Company are recalling canned bran dough because the product contains undeclared gluten and wheat. Anyone with celiac disease or an allergy to wheat could have a serious reaction if they consume this product. There is no word on whether or not any reactions have been reported to date.

RecallThe product is Maling brand Canned Szuhsien Bran Dough in 354 gram packages. The codes on the product are PD:01/JUN/2013 and ED:01/JUN/2016. The UPC number isĀ 6 902131 120937. The product was sold in Ontario at the retail level.

If you purchased this product and are allergic to wheat or gluten, do not eat it. Discard or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
