In Canada, Cookies Recalled for Undeclared Milk

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency and Boulangerie Andalos Inc. are recalling cookies from the marketplace because they contain milk that is not declared on the label. Milk is one of the major food allergens. Anyone with an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk could have a serious or life-threatening reaction if they consume this product.

RecallThe recalled product is Andalos brand Anis Cookies/Biscuits a l’anis in 420 gram packages. All packages  of the product where milk is not declared on the label are recalled. The UPC number is 7 74005 00013 5. The product was sold in Ontario and Quebec and may have been sold nationally.

No illnesses have been reported in connection with the consumption of this product. The recall was triggered by CFIA test results. If you do not have an allergy to milk, this product is safe to eat. If you are allergic to milk, return it to the place of purchase for a refund.
