In Canada, Gluten Free Cereal Recalled for Gluten

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency and Western Rice Mills are recalling Grande Harvest cereal because, although it is labeled “gluten free”, the product contains gluten. There is no word on any illnesses associated with the consumption of this product.

Important RecallThe recalled cereal is Grande Harvest 12 Grain Blended rice, sold in 907 gram packages. All codes bearing a “Gluten Free” claim are recalled. The UPC number of the product is 0 61052 91408 0. It was sold in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan at the retail level.

If you purchased this product and are allergic to gluten or have celiac disease, return it to the place of purchase for a refund.
