In Canada, Perogies Recalled for Undeclared Soy

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency and S & A Grandma’s Food Inc. are recalling Grandma’s perigees because they contain soy, one of the major food allergens, that is not declared on the label. Anyone with an allergy to soy could have a serious reaction if they consume this product. No reported illnesses are associated with the consumption of this product.

Grandma's Perogies recallThe product is Grandma’s perigees brand Potato & Bacon Perogies in 907 gram packages. The UPC number isĀ 8 92691 00112 7, and all codes are recalled where soy is not declared in the list of ingredients. The product was sold nationally at the retail level.

The recall was triggered by CFIA inspection activities. If you purchased this product and are allergic to soy, do not eat it. Discard it or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
