In Canada, Ring Donuts Recalled for Undeclared Egg

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Sunrise Bakery are recalling Ring Donuts because they may contain undeclared egg, one of the major food allergens. Anyone with an allergy to egg could have a serious reaction if they eat this product. No reports allergic reactions in association with the consumption of this product have been reported to date.

The donuts were distributed by Dawn Food Products of Calgary and were sold in Alberta, Ontario, and Saskatchewan at the retail level. The Ring Donuts are sold 72 per case. All codes where egg is not declared on the label are recalled. The UPC number isĀ 0 55138 03617 9.

If you purchased this product and are allergic to eggs, do not eat it. Return it to the place of purchase for a refund or discard. The CFIA is verifying that industry is removing this product from the market.
